Contents Page Analysis #2

I decided to use a completely different genre of music for my 2ND contents page analysis, so I could really compare the difference well.
For this analysis I chose to use mixmag, a magazine designed for dance music and clubbing.
This contents page is set on two different pages, one on the back of the other.
The contents page keeps to a very similar style as seen on the cover. Black is primarily used, obviously implying dark, relating to the nightclub scene. Apart from yellow, which is not featured on the front, the contents page has a very similar style to the cover. However, different fonts are used.
There are only three images on the first of the contents pages, one large, with a page number and explanatory text, a smaller image with the same and a picture of the free CD that comes with the magazine.
The people on the largest image of the page are smiling, dancing, female, and dressed well. This immediately implies a target audience. I don't think there is a specific gender target, but if I had to chose, perhaps male would come out on top. However, I do believe the target audience to be quite young, within the regions of 18-25. Mostly students.
The features are the first to be included, each with explanatory text. Giving an insight into the contents of the magazine.
The issue date is used on both pages.
The second of the contents pages has more about regulars. Some more images are used on this page too, each with a page number and a very small piece of text, or a name. Also, a small image of the magazine cover is situated in the left hand corner, complete with the photographers name.
Judging from what is used on the contents pages, this magazine relies heavily on imagery to appeal to its audience.
