On my cover, in terms of attracting my audience, I chose a blue font for the title. Even though the colour blue is generally connoted with males, I feel this connotation is becoming weaker and weaker. Therefor I used it in my title to appeal to both genders of my magazine, I also know females attracted to my magazine would be likely to be a fan of pink.
My main image attracts my audience as for females it plays on attraction and for males, because he is fully dressed and quite average and showing masculinity with his expletive pose, they would not feel like they would be endangering themselves with the risk of being ridiculed. Also because my model is dressed in normal casual clothing my audience can related to him.
By using lots of cover-lines my audience can feel like the magazine is aimed for them. Like the magazine is specifically telling them what is inside, for them. Also by using band names I know my audience would be familiar with it again plays on the personal, 'targeted at them', factor.
The overall different fonts used would appeal to my audience because they provide the cover with a slightly busy feel, not in a bad way, but it looks like a lot is going on, this is also achieved by using capitals. This would reflect on the lifestyle of my audience and appeal to them.
